My personal thoughts about IMP6
« on: September 01, 2006, 04:46:10 AM »

[Disclaimer: I have 1 hour or so spare time and can't do anything else right now, so I create some traffic here, hehehe]

Bonjour mesdames et messieurs,

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU for your participation in IMP6
and a big thank you to J. for making this possible at all.

There were a lot of good mix submissions, but what impressed me
most was the open and honest feedback everyone provided, I did
learn a lot from your feedback about my AND the other mixes.

I'm also impressed by the way people handle a not-so-good feedback
about their own mix, there's always a constructive communication
without personal attacks.

Great.
Superb..
Very grown-up...

Let's have a beer when you're in my region some day

Thanks to all who made this so courteous and fun.  A true bunch of pro's even if your not actively working in the industry!  The decorum and conduct is more "pro" than..... well.... you get the picture.

A big thanks to J for hosting this and taking the time, even though he is busy with biz and new family members... You da man!

no sweat guys, i promised to do one of these a month till i think it's not meeting my goals, i've had tons of help in pulling them off, mainly from garret.

as long as people are learning and think they are improving their mix skills we'll keep doing these.

It was actually fun having a song of mine mixed. It's a little intimidating throwing lower quality stuff in there, but warts and all, I think everyone did a great job.

That being said, I would rather mix than submit.
