Hi Fran,
I would like to know a little more on how you apply the helmholz resonators, which you obviously incorporate a lot in your designs.
1 What are the typical target ranges when:
-used in the CR?
-used in a live room or booth?
2 When you use a varrying depth, do you build separate compartments behind the slats, or is it just one big space?
3 Do you put some 703 behind them or even fill the whole cavity?
4 Do you regarded as very narrowbanded traps?
The reason why I am asking:
I have always wondered what happens with say the sub150Hz hitting a helmholz that is targeted to absorb ar around 300Hz. If you stuff the entire cavity with 703 and target the resonanz frequency at 300Hz for example, does the amount of 703, if the trap is in a corner, still work as a basstrap?
Any input is greatly appreciated!
Greetings,
Dirk
