Since I've gotten the Manley Backbone and can go from L/R to M/S and back for my Sontec MEP250EX at just the push of a button I'd say I do eq in M/S mode with it about 40 - 50% of the time - so yeah, it is in fact pretty often.

Fair do's. When I have stuff like that I don't struggle taming it ITB and then covering the general/overall stuff with the ganged gear. BUT - I see your point, just discussing/waffling... Horses for courses

Anyway - as Robin's about to find out, the real benefit of ganged control is being able to eq with one hand and flick through the latest copy of Razzle with the other. Ohhhhhh yeeeeeah
