You must mean Daniel Gross from Mojosmith (a.k.a. Mojo Smith) mastering --- You know --- Daniel Gross - The guy who allegedly copies people's web sites and posts the information as if it was his own.  THAT Daniel Gross?

let me make sure I understand this : Daniel Gross copied a website and claimed it as his own? that's Gross. Daniel, why would you do such a thing as copying someone else's website and claiming the credit? Daniel, that's truly Gross.

Intellectual property theft is never done by credible people. if Daniel Gross wants be credible, he had best not steal from others.  I would not do business with anyone even suspected of stealing from others.  did Daniel Gross really steal from others?  to it certainly seems to be the case.  If Daniel Gross would steal a website, who know what else he might steal, like some songs he was sent to be mastered then release them on his own or sell them to someone else? Credibility counts a lot and thieves are not to be trusted, especially when they have shown they might steal intellectual property like a web site.

Daniel, that's Gross.

Keep in mind tineye won't always work - in this case they slightly cropped the photo...

Daniel Gross fabricated his credits and gear by stealing photos from a legitimate studio.

The audacity, to do something like that!! Baffles me ..
How long can one keep up the charade. At some point it’s going make him look worse.

Perplexing the way some try and get a start in the game of mastering…

It’s all your fault Brad, for having such a nice clean cut room, and for loading it with great gear..

Cheers,

you know since i spat the dummy when this happened to me a few years back i thought it was over  and that was that  but it has happened to us  4 times since

and the last time was the exact same deal as yours brad  the dude stole my site replaced my name for his  and away he went
when i  found out i rang him up he said

"oh no you misunderstood - i did this as part of my audio school assignment
we had to invent a successful studio business and show good marketing skills  so i used your site you should be flattered ! "

he could not understand my problem

i rang his audio school and tried to make it their problem  they told me it happens all the time and you point out to the kid that he is nineteen and the studio guy they are pretending to be has been doing it 25 years ...
The kids just shrug .. What can you do ?.?

I said "how about start up a class called ethics ..?"
he didnt laugh .. either did i

i will lay you 10-1 your man is a dumb arse cheating  audio student
at least we can  all take note and never hire him !

what was his name again !

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery definition from the WWW

To imitate someone is to pay the person a genuine compliment — often an unintended compliment.

Too bad this is not what this person planned or implemented.

This type of thievery seems to be on the upswing especially from the  Online Mastering operations where no one can really check them out by going to their studio.

We are not that fancy so hopefully (loud sound of Tom knocking on wood) no one will want to use our pictures or text.

Now that I read this thread...

If one of you would be kind enough to forward me Daniel Gross's contact detail, I'll be happy to remind him that it seems he has a few unpaid invoices for the design of his room.
