Anyone interested in another WUMP?
« on: August 11, 2006, 12:16:33 PM »

title says it all...

Yes, Steve has been really busy and im looking forward to reading his comments on WUMP6, but just thought i'd ask if anyone has any ideas as to what kind of style we can do for the next one?

another trance track would perhaps challenge me most since i screwed up the one we did. but anything will be fine as long as it's not a restoration job. the world is not short of decent mixes that are waiting to be mastered, so if we are willing to do the research, i suppose we could find a mix in any style at any quality.

I think i have some old mixes here but they arent great.

Probably more "Salvage job" than spit and polish.

Maybe our good Buddy Mike Bruce has some better mixes.

Probably best doing this by using ID numbers again, as it worked really well last time.

Over at J.Hall's forum we have something similar (I.M.P) where
we produce mixes.
Why don't ask there for mixes?

No problem, lots of very nice guys there.
I've just started a new thread, lets see what the mixers think
about it:

i did this mix for i.m.p... totally unmastered...
http://www.parsek.at/cerberus/IMP/imp_5/OTO_mix_cerberus_441 6.wav
it could rock harder, no? but i don't want to master my own mixes...but to get people thinking more about what style they want to work on or not. anyone who wants to practice on their own could have this mix in full format from me. but why would i master it when i find my own mix could be improved first?  let's find a much better mix. it's fibes' track, btw. that dude rocks!

I missed out on the last one so am raring to go if you'll have me.

have even got a track of mine where I wouldn't mind being the client (sounds like fun)

if any body wants to download it and then put it on better server for more people to download then thats fine by me.

its a rock track thats quite personal to me hence i would not submit my own master but i would really be interested to hear what people could do with this one
