Since when does a y = sin(x)/x function convey the information in an impulse response? Since when does an impulse response have sinusoidal characteristics? And since when is an impulse response not a "real-world" characteristic?

Question #2:
How can you extend the bandwidth of a bandwidth-limited system?

You can...but how?
