i've been keeping almost daily contact with christian budde on the development of his electri-q, pointed out a few bugs , especially in his linear phase modes.
and lemme tell ya, this baby is gonna give algo and plpar a real run for their money when he's done with the upgrades he has in plan

i've asked him and he is still undecided on making two seperate plugs, one for winamp, and one extremely highend for mastering, or just sticking to the highend models for mastering and or mixing

check it out if you haven't already:

I just hope it sounds better than Poshifit if thats what its called.
It sounded ok'ish, but man!, what a fiddly GUI.
As for competing with Algo or PLP, well thats no mean feat!
Best of luck to him I say!!!
We need more better Digital EQ's imo.

i've been demoing the plp for the last week or so and im getting more impressed with it especially with the m/s options the fact that you don't need a seperate plugin for converting to m/s is really good imo
its very easy to use lots of options, and sounds really good

not tried the algo as yet but may do so in the next few weeks
