Need a visual of freq. adjustments.
« on: June 29, 2006, 10:52:55 AM »

Hello.  I have a little home studio.  One item I use a lot is a parametric eq.  My TASCAM 2488 had a little freq plot that I could watch as I adjust the onboard parametric eq.  However, I purchased a Behringer Ultratube Pro T1951 parametric eq, and just love it.  Anyway, stick to the issue at hand...

I would really love to be able to see whats happening.  Then I thought, there must be a freq. plot program that will take audio  signals realtime from the sound card and display a freq. plot.  If I could route the output of my 2488 to a PC sound card, then capture the audio with a freq plot display program, I could watch what happens to the freq. curve as I adjust my new external parametric eq.

Summary of System Architecture:
2488---->PC Sound Card---->Freq. plot software.

Maybe a VST Pluging that I can run in my Free VST Host would work.

Thanks.
