another baking question
« on: May 30, 2006, 04:19:28 PM »

hi all,

i have read the recent threads on baking.  some great posts.

my simple question is : is there a rule of thumb for how old a tape is to know if you should bake it or not?  i have a tape just handed to me from '92.  do i need to bake it?

the producer does not know the history of the tape.

the reel simply says "scotch"...but that could be the brand of reel only and not tape.

thanks!
