Opening a Wurlitzer
« on: May 15, 2006, 02:55:21 PM »

Stupid (?) question:

How do I open my Wurlitzer electric piano? I have removed the three screws under the keys and the knobs, but it still does not open. What next?

Thanks.

Problem solved: I was just being too gentle, afraid that too much force would damage something.

The goal was to tune one of the notes which I never attempted to do before.

Wow, that tuning solution is brilliant! I just took away a tiny, tiny bit of the solder blob on the reed and it was perfectly in tune again. Lovely when something (for once) is easier than you thought it would be.  Smile
