London Cabbie on Apple vs Apple
« on: May 15, 2006, 01:00:53 PM »

A case of mistaken identity - they thought he was the expert, he thought he was driving the expert after the interview. Somehow, the cabbie ended up on TV! Poor man, he really tries to answer the questions.

Watch the video with this article - when they introduce the man and he realizes what is happening, his expression says it all.

The BBC's latest star - a baffled cabbie
22:56pm 13th May 2006

A computer expert has described his astonishment at seeing the BBC's 24-hour news channel interview a taxi driver - in the mistaken belief it was him.

Guy Kewney - a white, bearded technology expert - was astonished to see himself appear on screen as a black man with an apparent French accent. He was even more shocked to see himself unable to answer basic questions about the legal battle between the Beatles' Apple Corps and Apple Computer over the use of an apple symbol.

They just interviewed him on Channel 4 news. He was at the Beeb for a job interview.

He's our very own Chancey Gardener. I look forward to the TV show and biography.
