Tape-Op:   The noble savages. For luddite elitism, there's none better.

EQ:  If you're trying to be BT or idolize the Neptunes, we're for you

Mix: Nowadays, just seems like smiling reviews, plus, In the "Sessions and Studio News" section, see pics of people you've sometimes heard of reclining unnaturally with their legs spread towards the camera at an inappropriately obtuse angle.

Pro Audio Review:  "Hi I'm Billy Mays, here for the Audio-Technica AT2020 Microphone"

Electronic Musician: Sweetwater shoppers rejoice!

Audio Media: does this even exist anymore?

R-E-P:   R.I.P.

Studio Sound:   ....  Hey, is Resolution available in the US?  I'd gladly give up all the free subscriptions to all the other ones if this is as good a read as Studio Sound used to be.

I'm continually amazed at how I can continue to ignore the "Renew now, or lose your free subscription" notices, and yet keep receiving these things, or even start receiving sister-magazines unrequested. (ie: what could I have possibly done to deserve a free, and seemingly unstoppable subscription to Remix?)

Sound on Sound.  How do they get all of that done in a month!  Paul White is a great guy, too.

Of course, Tape Op (LUDDITES UNITE!) and EQ (BT is beating John Vestman in the Hair Wars, though), but I'm biased (no pun intended).

Billboard, Tape Op & Sound on Sound for me are at the top.  I'd say Tapeop if I had to pick one.

It certainly is, but I'm not sure if you'd get it for free.
