Apologies for not posting a technical question. I read the welcome thread, and I know the rules, but...

I just wanted to thank Mr. Lavry and all the contributors for convincing me not to buy an external clock. I had planned on (eventually, when I'm no longer dirt poor) purchasing a good clock to improve convertor performance. But after spending a few hours reading through clocking threads on this forum, I see that there is no need--I should instead get a convertor with a good internal clock.

I won't pretend that I understand the explanations enough to, say, explain them to someone else, but I don't mind taking for granted the word of a respected engineer because it means less stuff for me to buy.
