Yes very painful, even for me.

We are doing a tracking session tonite to replace some vocals on a bands EP since they now have a new singer. Wish us luck.

BTW are there any questions about the process, details, treatments or stuff that any of you are interested in (at all)?

What's the structure made of from the roof down to the ceiling treatment?

It's not ideal but the flat roof was covered with a pitched roof years ago so in effect there is a giant airspace above my ceiling. The next step is to seal up and blow in more insulation above the ceiling to help attenuate when it rains heavily. That is the only time I have any issues is during a torrential downpour.

In the control room we hung wood runners and attached rockwool above them, stapled screen in and covered it with fabric. In the tracking room they are wood frames stuffed with insulation and wrapped with peg board with fabric on the inside to keep the insulation from raining down.

Is that what you were asking?
