Virtual Mixer
« on: March 14, 2006, 09:05:48 AM »

anyone did have a chance to see this in real?

http://www.globerecording.com/vm_test_djl/VMDemo.html#

I remember I emailed them two years ago-or so and their answer was that as soon as they will have demo (for try) ready they will announce it... I did not hear from them yet.
But I love that idea! Specially with the helmet on-the one from the Aerosmith video.

That concept came out about 10 years.  Oddly at the same time I had a similar (but better!) idea.

Nothing practical ever came of mine (impossible idea to protect  Rolling Eyes ) and nothing practical ever came of that one either (don't know why).

Recently, two handed mixing on a monitor screen was demonstrated.  It can't be too long before someone latches on to that for audio (and everything else computer related).
