It a Sony MXP-3000 fitted with Avalon designed [and built] modules... Fred Forssell Forrsell Technologies] builds modules for those frames as well.

The MXP-3000 frame is a very flexible platform for employing "aftermarket" modules... they ain't cheap, and you have to order them in bulk [like 24 -36 at a shot] but the end result is nothing short of amazing!!!

Peace.

I had an Purple knobed 737 that was the heart of my late '90's touring bass rig.

(I was in temporary Ampeg denial).

Then I had it at the Backroom for a few years and even though it wasn't 'special' it was handy when we ran out of API's and Dakings.

Had it refurbed and sold it to finance a 1957 Fender Precision a couple of months ago,
got a decent resale value after using it for almost 12 years.

I have to admit that in 1999 when I bought it I was not aware of any similar product you could buy new and take on tour.

Yeah, I knew of the Forssell modules, but not the Avalons. Interesting.

Either would have to be a serious upgrade to stock Sony (MCI).

Avalon has had other gear manufactured that most don't know about. An example is these modules of Michael Brauer's, quoted as:
AVALON RACK:
         A19-6I (MOD)
        (X4)E55 MODULES
        (X2)L44 MODULES

I passed on the option of buying a few last year.
