Websites - Personal Pic - Yay or Nay

I have noticed that about half the mastering websites I have visited have no personal "engineer" picture and the other half do. I see advantages to both. On one hand it is always nice to put a face with a place and on the other hand it seems it can be a bit self restricting (eg: that guy does not look like he would be into my music!). Just wondering what others mindset are on this and why you chose to either have or forgo a personal picture. I just updated some photo's on my site and am currently debating if a picture of myself helps or hurts. Thanks in advance for the input.

Come on, Brad... You're a decent looking guy (I guess) so put up a pic and join the club.

Never had one until I realized that half the planet was on FaceBook anyway.  So, I used the same photo on my Contact page for consistency.  Just a MacBook cam shot...

Sure, why not?

The personal touch is generally a good thing.

After all we're not just robots.

Plus with a pic, a client might know if they want to attend the session or not!

Possibly sitting for hours with an Behemoth Ogre ME :-)

I think it shows confidence, it's not like you will be recognised in the street or anything but just
shows you are proud of who you are and what you do.

I don't have one on my web site. Never really considered why. If I could find a photo of myself that I really liked, I might do it, but I am very camera shy and unphotogenic!

That's a good shot--shows a lot of the comfort of the room and the tumbler half full of vodka.

It's NOT vodka!

It's moonshine.

I have one of these screwed into each side of the console.
Although it has to be a certain type and modded a little further to fit over sized drinks.

They look good for cans but not so good for English tea cups, lol.
I need at least 4/5 cups a day.
