nice link. i think the phrase that i read that describes her best is "Caretaker of her husband's legacy". Sad to think that this moves Al Sharpton higher in the list of great blacks, but only because he is a bit of an opportunist, whereas MLK and Coretta never seemed to tarnish themselves with inappropriate, or rather, questionable, behaviour.
It seems that the democrats could use a good African-Am. leader to come forth, but I have no idea who that could be. I can't help thinking how ironic that Condy is a republican, which is the party typically associated with removing aid for minorities in favor of yachts and tax breaks for the wealthy.
