Hey everyone. I saw some pics of a few of these head units from tape machines circa 1970 or so and wondered if it would be worth pursuing to use for interesting mic/line preamps? I'm always looking for rare, obscure stuff to run my audio through but would always rather avoid destroying it if I'd rather not. Lord knows I'm known to destroy it on purpose! Anybody know these machines and what do you think of their capabilities as good preamps? I haven't seen them yet in person so I got nuthin' but some alluring gear porn photos
