"producer" vs. "engineer," and mastering
« on: December 23, 2005, 01:36:41 PM »

Hey, Steve. I was looking at the accreditations on a bunch of albums you worked on and noticed that most credited you as "engineer" and fewer as "producer." I was wondering, then, what you felt you did differently on those records crediting you as producer than those in which you were engineer.

I also noticed that you worked on the master for Title TK, which is something I you did on only a couple other albums. Do you have a particular mastering process you use universally, or do you try a bunch of different things and see which you like best?

Thanks.
