I apologize if this has been gone over ad infinitum on other forums - and no doubt you've fielded 1000s of questions about this album... hopefully you can stomach a few 1000 more.

I'm normally verbose, and I could spend the next hour typing questions about In Utero, but I'll start with just one:



Given the overall density of tracks (some of the real heavyass ones like “Scentless Apprentice” or “Tourettes”) – did you ever find the drums to be shrinking in the mix and did that necessitate radical techniques to preserve their impact and clarity? Thoughts of Slipperman's phone booth analogy come to mind...
