Mackie Onyx Playback Problem...
« on: December 12, 2005, 08:27:24 am »

Hi there,

I have a Mackie Onyx w/firewire option and encoutered some
problems this week-end while listening to some audio tracks.
According to some forums, Many Onyx user seems to have this problem. Every couple of minutes I hear a high pitch squeel for about 2-3 secs. I reinstalled the drivers, but the problem still occures.

I convinced that this is a driver problem.
If not, what could it be?

Cheers

if anyone out there might have an idea please submit!
I'm beginning a session on saturday morning and i still
have this fu*k*ng problem... Mad

According to Mackie, it must be a IRQ conflict problem
or something like that... I'm gonna try to disable all the peripheral that don't need to work as i record, like on board ethernet cards etc...

Hope is the key, I guess...  Evil or Very Mad
