There are hints of King Crimson's CD Dicipline in there
(Please take this as it was meant: a compliment)
Crazy timings and guitrs doing very wrong things so right.
Loving it!

Not Punk by past or modern standards, definitely not Progressive Rock, it's good ol' Noisy Indie rock music. It's a good sound, but the singing won't ever please many, I also would rather hear meaningful riffs instead of "sound".

I like it, though, despite it's dissimilarity to Bach.

One more crazy...s$#@t
I wonder how many freaky styles are beginning to pop up...
breaking mixing/musical rules and ad-hoc principles completely...
There is no place for revolution only evolution is successfull...

Listen Jazz, Learn harmony, learn so many interesting things, how it was evaolving from old time until now, learn something.
Want good drummer?, listen to the best drummers like Dave Weckl for example... He really understands how music works...While adds to it with ad-hoc principle, not breaking everything...Playing absolutely all styles and understanding each, mixing styles, producing new enfluencies, etc.///
There is all that crazy metal? indie rock? (i refer that indie rock which is equal to indie movies....)? How much of it survive? Only what is musically interesting... And not breaking everything, which ear is not used to hear, i think something like this track can be listened in 2040...
I really hope what music won't evolve in that direction...
direction of no quality, absense of mixing structures - just piece of sound....

So, you didn't like it, huh, Vlad?  I guess we'll have to wait until 2040 to hear something constructive from you.

I quite like bands that "haven't gotten the memo"...  Working in your own world, with only your muse and whatever echoes remain from the great music you grew up listening to.

Genres/styles/formulas suck.  Duke Ellington said it best:  "There are only two kinds of music:  Good music, and the other kind."

If you don't like something, fine, just say "not my cuppa tea" or something, or shut your pie hole.   Don't criticise something for not being what you expected or not fitting into a predefined pattern.

Ugh.

i couldn't tell if that was criticism or not! "what the ear isn't used to hearing", "breaking boundaries/mixing styles", "doesn't sound like Dave Weckyl"...

seems pretty complimentary to me!

(and I don't even consider this music all that 'radical')

And Duke Ellington have developed Jazz harmony and many "rules" what you confront, interesting what if he just start to resolve G7 into just just C instad of CMaj7, will it be reasonable, or just break all jazz voicings and started playing 1-3-5-6 block chords? ala Dixilend...The knowlege and work is a key to great music... i still hope somebody could understand what i mean....
