Title: Revolting Egyptian Humor.
Post by: Bill_Urick on January 30, 2011, 04:15:37 PM
So, Mubarak was sitting at his desk this afternoon when one of his ministers rushed in exclaiming, "President I have your farewell address to the people ready!"

Mubarak looks up, surprised, and asks, "Why, are they going somewhere?"

I heard it on NPR yesterday, (yes I occasionally listen to NPR) so I am certain the joke has the approval of the thought police.

Old joke from South America:

What is the most popular sport in your country?
The most popular sport in my country is bullfighting.
Isn't that revolting?
No, that is the second most popular sport in my country.

"The peasants are revolting!"

"Aren't they always?"

"Yes, but now they're rebelling as well"

If the Egyptian protesters win, what do they get?

A trip to the finals against Tunisia.
