I down loaded the Demo and so far, it sounds very very good. It sure ad's no color at ALL and come surgery time, it might be the ticket.

I heard the URS stuff a few sessions ago up close and they were great mixing eq's. Some of them had real charm and you could hear them change things just being in the path. Which is more hardwareish.

This sounds real good.I'll have more later.
The free demo is 10 days so I'll tinker around with it. The first thing I did was listen to the high and low shelves. Wow, they really work great.

Best in the world? for what? EQ's are so subjective for many uses like a vocal. There are any number of EQ's that are best in the world and some of them are on cheap ass chipped consoles. Who knows right?

But a Hoax? No, very nice EQ on first glance.

My 2 cents

I am the author of these systems. Why do you suppose that it is a hoax? Have you actually tried any of our DSP technology?

Words like "Audiometrics" and "Compressive Loudness Audio Shaping" are the first clue...

Then your offering a software eq that can restore hearing?

Me think it has kind of an Ableton Live look and feel.
Not bad if you give it some time - but listen to it too  Very Happy

Another plug in.... Mad
Computers can't reproduce the nuance of analog EQ. The beauty of the process of artistry is the random qualities of all parts wanted or unwanted
Here is a question to make my point
Can a computer generate a random stream of #'s ?

The ansewer is NO!
At some point it will repeat the process
The best place for digital is its control over the analog process e.g.
I think Euphonics made this point more eloquently than I can

Huh?  They can do that till the cows come home.  Have yours produce  an irrational number and modulate the last digits of each iteration  with digitized line noise.
