I have a neve 3118 that needs work. The mic preamp is ok but when I switch on the eq. section it becomes very noise, loud cracks etc. .
Does anybody have schematics or info for this unit. Do you think its worth the money for having it serviced by a professional shop. Will it be like a 1073 or its more of a lower quality version. I presently only use it for overdubs since I don't trust it for live takes with a band...
