ADAT PC hardware
« on: April 21, 2005, 08:13:06 AM »

Hi,

Just would like to know, if somebody knows any PC Digital ADAT audio interface (PCI or FireWire) for 48ch 96kHz recording?
I just know the RME one, which requires all of my 4 PCI slots at this number of tracks, which I don't like...

Any help is mutch appreciated.

Check out the Dakota card by Frontier Design Group. Sixteen ADAT in + sixteen ADAT out plus a few other things. Also has an expander card to double the capacity. Before I upgraded, I used one for a few years with a PC running ProAudio9 and never had a problem with it.
