Shipping a tape machine (northeast US)
« on: January 28, 2005, 06:56:39 AM »

Any recommendations for a company that has experience shipping 24 track machines?  I can go pick it up myself, but I'm also considering getting it shipped.  (NY -> MD).

thanks

North American Van Lines has a service called "Hi Value/Blanket Wrap"... we use that every time we need to move a 24 track and don't want to crate it.

I generally recommend that the headstack be removed, sent to JRF, and have JRF ship the stack to you after inspection with the machine traveling "headless".

Best of luck with it.
