Maybe this will work.

Well it did work but only at the end of the post.

No picture included.

And it looks like I can't add one later either.

One more try.

Maybe this will work.

You can insert a url to an image on a server, or you can attach a jpg or png image. You can have up to 5 attachments. Maximum file size for a single file is 512K, that is also the maximum total for all 5 images.

Attachments will not appear in preview mode.

It was telling me that my attachment didn't pass security checks.

I'm trying again today from another computer.

It works, but I don't seem to be able to embed the image.

The "insert image" button doesn't seem to do anything.

And multiple images?

I also don't see any way to delete or edit images that have already been posted.  Never mind, I see it now.

Looks like there is not a lot of space for pictures.  Maybe only 600 pixels wide on this screen which is 1280 to start with.  There's a lot of wasted space to the left of the images.  Not even any ads there.

Nope, I don't even have 600 pixels of width to play with.  I'll have to look at this at home on a wider screen to see what happens.

Yup, with a 1400x900 screen, I can see the whole thing.  Still have to do a little bit of scrolling for the 800 pixel wide images.

Here's another attempt.

It doesn't like my home computer.  Here's the message:

"Your attachment has failed security checks and cannot be uploaded. Please consult the forum administrator."

Mac OS 10.4.11, Safari 4.1.3
Attempting to attach a 236 KB .jpg
I'm getting
"The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

Images that were and still are attached to Marketplace listings that were originally posted on the PSW Marketplace were lost when the Marketplace listings were put up here on REP (yet they still show their outline with the annoying little question mark) and the bottom of the post still shows the image file as attached but clicking on the image file I get a "404 not found"

See the difference

Got a message from Peter Smith over at the PSW forum.
Seems it was a permissions issue.
Works for me now.

I was able to post 2 listings with attached photos in the marketplace 1/2 an hour ago.
Now I can't add attached images again.
This time the error message is;
"Your attachment has failed security checks and cannot be uploaded. Please consult the forum administrator."
The image is a 124KB .jpg
What's going on here? Very frustrating.
