How to remove stuck circuit cards from a rack
« on: June 19, 2015, 06:37:09 AM »

I have some very large circuit cards for a piece of equipment that will not come out of their cage. These cards are about 12 inches by 8 inches and have over 100 gold plated contacts on them.  I went so far as to remove the cage from the rack and I still cannot get the cards out. I do not want to damage them. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I got them out. A person on an another forum suggested using Cramolin. So I sprayed some on both sides of the card holder, waited a few minutes and pulled gently and out they came one at a time. This is what I used http://store.caig.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1602/.f
