THEFT ALERT!
« on: February 12, 2013, 06:22:11 PM »

I'm posting around the boards this afternoon that my home was burglarized today and among other items at least four of my VF14's were stolen. I have serials for all of them. If you see any show up anytime soon be suspicious. I can be contacted at duskb @ yahoo if something comes up.

Thanks,

FYI, here are the serials for the VF14's that were submitted to LAPD today:

VF14- 129 "M"
VF14- 563 NOS
VF14- 629 NOS
VF14- 382 "M"
VF14- #5 Serial is at SPA I'm waiting for it. In Tony style theres some very hard to read identification at the bottom that says "Airtight". The previous owner.

I'm also going to post this in a few other forums so we know what to look out for. If you see these please email me at duskb@yahoo . com.

I would suggest you contact as many of the "after market" microphone repair guys as well as posting this on various boards.  If someone is going to sell the tubes there is a VERY small market for their sale... worst case scenario the thieves will have no idea what they are and throw them out [or try to pawn them]... but if they know what they are, then there is a small chance they can be recovered.

Sorry to hear about the loss!!

Peace
