Glued Vs Screwed
« on: November 01, 2011, 07:03:05 PM »

I was reading the Wunder Audio website on the CM7. they talk about using the 1 inch Mylar capsule and tensioning it with a 9 Oz weight which then gets glued down to a ring. The contrast is to a capsule that is set on a spacer and screwed down in place with a bezel. The two are different. Is this information going to produce major differences?

I expect it does and they product by Wunder Audio looks stellar. Any one heard that mic with the EF-14?

Thanks much

They are probably referring to a M7 type capsule, which is glued.
