New Forums - update 2/24/11
« on: February 24, 2011, 02:57:38 PM »

OK - we're now autonomous!!!!  -- the "live guys" have their thing... and this is our thing [-- for those from NYC... "this thing of ours"]

Please bookmark the new address: http://repforums.prosoundweb.com

We're still working on the new registration page... but that doesn't mean that you can't register now [none of the registrations from this [FUD] set of forums can transfer to the new [SM] set of forums].

The next few days will be sort of a transitional period... we're going to be figuring out what new features to add [like "The Marketplace"]... and how to make sure we're going to be able to run a bit tighter on the "real name" / "professional affiliation" identification stuff.  We're doing a bit of personnel changing as well... so we're going to be working those guys into the program too.

If you have any comments or suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them here - or better yet... in the new forums!!!

ALSO --- if you have any favorite threads that you absolutely want to see moved please PM me or Brad Blackwood.  Before you PM something that is in current discussion... please UNDERSTAND and rest assured that the front page of every forum's threads will be moved... AND  ----- ALL INFORMATION / POSTS ON THE CURRENT ITERATION OF R/E/P WILL BE ARCHIVED IN "READ ONLY" PERPETUITY... NOTHING SHALL BE WASTED!!!

See ya on the other side!!!

Peace.

We are selling emotions, there are no emotions in a grid

"Recording engineers are an arrogant bunch.
If you've spent most of your life with a few thousand dollars worth of musicians in the studio, making a decision every second and a half... and you and  they are going to have to live with it for the rest of your lives, you'll get pretty arrogant too.  It takes a certain amount of balls to do that... something around three"
