The Independent reported 1st Febuary 2011 John Barry, the man with the Midas touch for movie music dies.

Sir George Martin paid tribute last night on Channel Four News.

It too crossed my mind why nobody posted John Barry's passing.  Perhaps I should have, rather than thinking that somebody will.

I really enjoyed his music.
