I think they should change their names to Wanda White and Jack Jackson.

I've been listening to tracks from this record on Outlaw Country/Sirius XM. There's a lot of attitude in that voice!

What can I say. I love this. It makes my heart rate go up. I can't recall Dave ever asking a band to kick back into the song.

I just found out about this from a facebook post this morning and I will be buying this the second it's out, they were amazing. I can't believe how good she still sounds, her voice hasn't aged a bit.

That was f'ing awesome.  I admit, I can't really figure Jack out, but the guy does a great job aligning himself with some iconic performers, and he has a lot of talent himself.  Great clip.  Thanks.

There's only one reason that wasn't perfect. The BG singers couldn't dance, and the drummer didn't play traditional. ok, two reasons....

I was fortunate enough to record her for a live TV appearance in late '09. She does still sound amazing, and her energy level and personality will rub off on you and make your day better. A real joy to work with. BTW, she was first take every time, the only second takes were for the band and the host of the show.

Reminds me a lot of the album Jack White wrote with Loretta Lynn "Van Lear Rose"...

The live Letterman version was about ten times better than the studio cut! Amazing what adrenaline and a live audience can do to music...

Well, if the drummer doesn't "play traditional" it can't be good!  And I agree that the background singers dancing is VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Maybe you should join the group and fix these important shortcomings!!!

Perfection is the enemy of creativity.

This was awesome.  Had indescribable magic.  Fantastic post.
