Fortunately, I'll never know.

I assume it also sucks to be talented.

I played in a popular band in high school and strangers would sometimes recognize me on the street - I found that kind of creepy.  I prefer just being another guy in the crowd.

I've played in bands, but never popular ones.  I've never been recognized on the street -- or in a lineup.  I count my blessings.

I hate talking to drunks.

omg I just thought of something I would never say (and get away with it totally scot free) but like remind me about today in a few years, and if I don't remember use key word "arethafranklin".

No one here is going to remember "today" tomorrow let alone in a few years.  Just say it and be done with it.  And if it's about Aretha Franklin's cancer, then maybe you shouldn't... you know, so you don't feel badly immediately after.

Nope. Off by about 2 generations.  The band did start with "M" however.

Let's play "Hangman" until we get it.  I'll start.

M__ __ __ __ (OK, I don't know how many spaces to put).

Hint:  Try Googling me...  The name alone got us a gig at the Fillmore.

OK.  I've googled you.

So, my guess for the second letter is "E"...

Ok, i!

Did that count as my shout out? Can I get a ruling? I didn't solicit it. Just sayin'...

Why "I"?  Did Jay play with Bon JovI?

Is that what you're trying to say?  And why does the "I" make an "E" sound in that case?  I already guessed "E"...

You could buy a vowel, but NOOOOO you'd rather download other people's records and share them with students.

Maybe you should look for Don't Stand So Close to Me.

Did you see the thing on the Onion about "are violent video games really preparing our childern for the oncoming zombie apocalypse?".

Had to change the subject real quick.

Why would I buy a vowel when I could just download one for free??!!

Now you made me think about my darkest hour. The failure of my best-last-chance idea, downloadable bacon. It was a part of my broadband pork strategy, just before bullshit went out of style.

I was going public too.
