Hi, just wanted to let you know that AmpliTube 3 was announced at Winter NAMM 2010 and is to be released in February.  There are many new gear models, creative effects like Swell and Step Filter, 4-track recording, drag and drop stomps and rack effects, and much more.

Will sessions that have an old version of Amplitube inserted as a plugin open up correctly if you buy and install the new version?

They will open with the original plugins.  You can import your presets into AmpliTube 3 and then run tracks through it - this will better preserve your projects/mixes and allow you to audition things if you'd like to do so with your older projects.

Just a heads up - there's a really nice demo given by our Chief Technology Officer Davide here:  http://bit.ly/arxXQw  Very informative.

We'll have more videos coming and we're approaching release rapidly.  We even have some tricks up our sleeve for 3.1 already so there's definitely excitement and progress here.
