Re-recording Real Audio
« on: February 08, 2007, 06:57:30 AM »

Hey guys, I bought some stuff on Rhapsody as protected *.rax files and purchased a program to convert them to .mp3 for my ipod! This Soundtaxi is major rip-off for them - DRM-fed industry. It's doing exactly what it said it would do!
The program is re-recording protected audio and saves it as unprotected mp3, wav & aac!

anyone with two computers could also do this. software such as wiretap and audiohijack have existed for osx.  there was an extension that apple made (free) for classic os and distributed to developers (but anyone could download it) that would make an .aif of anything that passed soundmanager.

everything old is new again. except that logos were much cooler back in the day.
