triggering redrum from pro tools?
« on: August 07, 2006, 05:51:10 PM »

So I'm working on mixing some old stuff I dug up and come to find out it has quite the nasty snare sound.  Is there possibly a way to trigger a sampled snare in Reason from the already recorded audio?

I know it's possible using an external module like the Alesis dp5 so there has to be some program out there that can do it.... right?

Drumagog? http://www.drumagog.com

I used to us the Alesis D-4 untill I discovered Drumagog. Try the demo and watch the video to see if it will fit your bill.
